Lloyd, a photographer facing the slow decline of a brain tumor, discovers that the tumor causing his demise is also capable of reviving the recently deceased. He uses his camera as a tool for this reanimation. Upon finding a chilling snuff film depicting the torture and murder of a beautiful naked woman, he feels driven to restore her to life. Captivated by her elegance and allure, he brings her back each night, gradually developing feelings for her. Yet, with each resurrection, Lloyd inadvertently also brings back her murderer, known as SHAPE.
