Griff McCleary, a police officer, is grappling with the aftermath of his son’s tragic death, which occurred when the boy accidentally shot himself with Griff’s firearm. A year has passed, yet both Griff and his wife, Olivia, are still deeply affected by the incident. Feeling alienated from Olivia, Griff chooses to leave their home.
