In this film, two individuals, Joanne (played by Sonja Smits) and Chris (portrayed by Jonas Bonnetta), embark on a shared journey through the wintry landscapes of rural eastern Ontario. Joanne, having recently lost her husband John (Colin Mochrie), is navigating the solitary customs of rural living. Meanwhile, Chris is grappling with his deteriorating vision, the recent passing of his mother, and the responsibility of inheriting her countryside home. As they travel together, their shared memories and experiences gradually surface, allowing them to find new perspectives on their respective paths.
