Drawing on years of self-deception, Don Q, a long-time inhabitant of Little Italy, imagines himself as a formidable mafia leader determined to restore the neighborhood and its diminishing values. However, his illusion is challenged with the arrival of a merciless former convict, thrusting the self-styled Don and a devoted follower into a subsequent battle for control of the area.
