A military widow, portrayed by Benz, has lost her belief in the spirit of Christmas. She rents out an apartment to a charming Army Captain who is recuperating from a combat injury and whose belief in Christmas is uplifting. Together, they work to rescue the town’s military museum by organizing a Christmas fundraising event. In the process, these two “wounded souls” discover love and experience the healing power of Christmas magic.
