A collection of six animated short films breaks away from conventional animation by incorporating supernatural aspects and exploring darker themes, including alien abductions, life with mannequins, and spiritual renewal. The lineup includes “Ape,” which depicts a couple’s nightly quarrel over a cooked monkey; “The Story of the Cat and the Moon,” a narrative about unreciprocated love; and “Gentle Spirit,” inspired by a story from Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
