In the vast, unending expanse of the Mojave Desert, Phoenix has chosen a life of self-imposed seclusion, residing in a remote house far removed from civilization. His solitary existence revolves around a singular activity: digging holes. Each month, he ventures into the desolate landscape to bury something. His only connection to the outside world is the regular visits from his dependable mailman. However, when one day his mail is unexpectedly delivered by the enigmatic and captivating Ariel instead, Phoenix’s routine is disrupted, setting off a chain of events that spirals into perilous outcomes from which there is no turning back.
