Víctor, a young boy, is unexpectedly discovered wandering along a rural road. His mother, Patricia, a prominent lawyer known for her expertise in high-profile media cases, learns of this and rushes to the hospital. There, she informs the police that Víctor is deaf and communicates through sign language. At the police station, Víctor recounts that he was abducted by a mysterious man while on his way to school. The police identify a potential suspect, Charlie, a man facing financial difficulties and with a pregnant wife who is eight months along. Charlie cannot account for his whereabouts during Víctor’s abduction. Frustrated by the police’s inability to detain Charlie after several unsuccessful attempts to arrange a meeting with Víctor, Patricia reaches out to Raúl, her former romantic partner and Víctor’s father, asking him to have Charlie seriously threatened. However, when it is revealed that Víctor falsely identified Charlie, Patricia attempts to intervene and stop Raúl, setting off a series of events with uncontrollable consequences.
