High school sophomore Kodaka Hasegawa, who recently transferred to a new school, finds himself friendless even after a month. With a Japanese father and a British mother, Kodaka’s looks lead others to mistakenly view him as a delinquent. One day, he notices his classmate Yozora Mikazuki engaging in a lively conversation with herself. This encounter prompts a discussion between them about friendship. In response, Yozora decides to create the Neighbor’s Club, compelling Kodaka to join in hopes of making friends.
