Sixteen years after finishing high school, Lonnie’s life remains largely unchanged. He continues to paint houses, drink excessively, and spend time with his long-time friends, including the ever-comical Alex Karpovsky from “Girls.” “Bloomin Mud Shuffle” is a raw and authentic film that finds humor in life’s challenging situations. Directed by Frank V. Ross, this is his seventh film and features standout performances from Natasha Lyonne (known for “Orange is the New Black”) and Rebecca Spence (from Ross’s “Tiger Tail in Blue,” WFF 2013). The film’s score is composed by John Medeski of Medeski Martin & Wood.
