A woman suffering from amnesia finds herself on Death Row for a murder she has no recollection of committing. The FBI offers her a chance at freedom by enlisting her in a covert experimental team within their unsolved crimes division. She undergoes a procedure to receive the last memories of murder victims. As she follows the clues from these borrowed memories, she is also tormented by faint remnants of her own forgotten past.
