In Finnish Lapland, at a late-night hot-dog stand, Aurora, a party-loving woman with a fear of commitment, encounters Darian, an Iranian man. Out of the blue, Darian proposes to her, explaining that he needs to wed a Finnish woman to secure asylum for himself and his daughter. Initially, Aurora declines, as she is preoccupied with her job as a nail technician and intends to escape her unsatisfying life by moving to Norway. However, after meeting Darian’s charming daughter, she decides to assist him. As Aurora introduces Darian to various potential brides, they begin to develop a bond. When an ideal candidate for marriage appears, both Darian and Aurora must make a tough decision: to continue pretending or to confront their true feelings and stop avoiding reality.
