Luce Lockhart adores the holiday season, but she lands in a tough spot after maxing out her credit card. Eager to own a ruby necklace, Luce reluctantly takes on a job walking dogs for the Brandts. She hesitantly agrees to walk their dog, Hank, and discovers a nearby dog park where she encounters other dog owners, including the frustrating dog walker, Dean Silver. Not long after, Luce learns that the Brandts intend to build a spa on the dog park’s land. When Dean becomes aware of these plans, he and Luce clash over his mission to halt the development. However, as Luce spends more time with Hank and Dean, her perspective on the park begins to shift. Caught in a dilemma between siding with the Brandts or Dean, Luce must decide if she can manage to save the dog park by Christmas.
