Sadie, a budding novelist, and Francesca, a mysterious woman, are invited by a former lover to spend a weekend at his villa in Italy to celebrate the launch of Sadie’s new book. Upon arrival, Sadie starts to suspect that he may have ulterior motives, as she and Francesca find themselves caught up in a perilous exploration of ethics and desire.
