Clara and Alex, both newly single parents, have vastly different approaches to raising their children. Clara is an overprotective mother to her son Oliver, while Alex’s daughter Emma feels disconnected from him. Their paths cross when Alex suggests filming a commercial at their children’s school to save his struggling marketing firm, a plan Clara opposes as she campaigns for the position of parent group president. In a bid to save his company, Alex decides to run for the same position. Unexpectedly, they end up tied for the presidency, forcing them to collaborate until a re-vote can be held. Initially, they are fierce competitors, constantly trying to outmaneuver each other. However, as they confront the challenges of parenting, they gain a new perspective, leading to a mutual understanding and even a budding romance.
