Set in a working-class neighborhood, The Trades explores the lives of refinery workers who offset their demanding jobs with humorous escapades. The story focuses on Todd, a pipefitter, and his sister Audrey, who shares both his home and his passion for the trades. Inspired by their father Rod, Audrey embarks on a career as a carpenter, following in her brother’s footsteps.
