Soo-myung and Seung-min, both aged 25, cross paths for the first time at Soori Hope Hospital, a dilapidated psychiatric institution situated on a mountain. Soo-myung has been a resident since he was nineteen, following the trauma of his mother’s suicide, and he harbors a fear of scissors. In contrast, Seung-min, a mentally sound and accomplished paraglider, was unjustly committed by his avaricious half-brother, who aims to seize Seung-min’s portion of the family fortune. While Soo-myung is a compliant patient, quietly enduring the hospital’s mistreatment, Seung-min is volatile and unpredictable. Before long, Soo-myung becomes entangled in Seung-min’s daring scheme to escape the facility.
