Darcy, an accomplished event planner, heads back to her hometown to organize her mother’s wedding. She struggles to come to terms with her future stepfather and soon finds her desire for a flawless event at odds with her mother’s preference for a simple affair—particularly when it involves Kyle, the attractive and charismatic chef whom Darcy considers unsuitable for the catering. However, as both personal and professional challenges emerge, it is Kyle who steps in to assist her in making the day a success and ultimately helps her discover the love she has been seeking.
