Relaxed rural investigator Byung-su decides to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary by taking his family on a trip to the Philippines. However, he has a secret motive: to locate his former friend Yong-bae, who deceived him and vanished several years prior. Upon arriving in Manila, Byung-su discovers that Yong-bae is incarcerated for murder and learns about the mystery of ‘Yamashita’s Gold’. Tempted by Yong-bae’s offer of a portion of the treasure, Byung-su unexpectedly finds himself caught up in the intrigue.
