When a trainee pilot and her critically injured gunner are shot down, they make an emergency landing on a nearby planet. They discover an enemy vessel that could provide the necessary components to repair their own ship. However, the pilot soon encounters another survivor—a hostile alien soldier determined to prevent her from escaping.
