On the night before the Hungry Ghost Festival, a tomb in Vietnam is inadvertently disturbed, releasing a malevolent spirit that summons the dead. These spirits cause chaos within the Vietnamese-Australian community in Melbourne, seeking to reunite with lost loves and settle old scores. Amidst this turmoil, a young woman named May Le must reconnect with her roots and embrace her fate to restore harmony to a community still haunted by the scars of war.
