Anni, who comes from an affluent background and is accustomed to a comfortable lifestyle, finds herself enamored with Veikko, a war veteran injured during the Continuation War. She decides to abandon her former life and embrace a new beginning as a pioneer in the untamed forests of northern Karelia, settling on a farm. Initially, everything seems promising, but soon, unforeseen challenges arise, threatening Anni’s dreams and testing her relationship with Veikko.
