In the year 1100, Italy finds itself under the dominion of a German ruler, Emperor Frederick, known as “Barbarossa.” His ambition is to extend his control to the central and southern regions, aiming to restore the grandeur of the empire once led by Charlemagne. However, in the North, a young Milanese named Alberto Da Giussano has rallied a force of 900 young men from various cities, known as the “Company of Death.” Alberto aspires to overthrow the Emperor and restore independence to the Northern territories.
