Disenchanted with his role as the ruler of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar decides to leave his position and move to Los Angeles. There, he partners with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to catch criminals. However, his prolonged absence from the underworld increases the risk of the most malevolent souls breaking free.
