“Zoey 101” is a U.S. TV series that aired on Nickelodeon from January 9, 2005, to May 2, 2008. The show centers around Zoey Brooks and her friends as they navigate life at Pacific Coast Academy, a fictional boarding school in Southern California. Created by Dan Schneider, the series was initially shot at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, before moving to sound stages in Valencia, California, starting with the third season. In 2005, it received an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Children’s Program.” As Nickelodeon’s most costly series production, it was entirely filmed on location in Malibu.
