Super Why!, also known as The Reading Adventures of Super Why!, is a computer-generated animated series created by Angela C. Santomero and Samantha Freeman Alpert. The production is a collaboration between Out of the Blue Enterprises in New York City and DHX Media’s Decode Entertainment in Toronto. The show first premiered on PBS stations on September 3, 2007. It is broadcast on PBS Kids and PBS Kids Sprout in the United States, and on Kids’ CBC in Canada. In Thailand, Thai PBS airs a condensed version of the series, with episodes lagging five years behind the U.S. schedule.
