Unable to prevent a robber from taking his father’s small savings, Travis grows up burdened with guilt over his parents’ suicides. Their tumultuous existence is disrupted by Mary Francis, a mentally unstable young woman with a penchant for violence, who kills a thief threatening to reveal the brothers’ dark secrets.
