Al Stanco, a lifelong Brooklyn resident, occasionally works for Danny Parente, a local crime boss. Gabriela, a filmmaker new to the area, is creating a documentary about the authentic Brooklyn. Al and Gabriela develop a friendship, but tensions arise when Al learns that her real intention is to reveal Parente’s illegal operations. Upon reviewing the evidence Gabriela has gathered, which links Parente to the deaths of several locals, including Al’s father, Al decides to confront his boss in a perilous quest for vengeance.
