In a small regional postal facility, a metaphorical time bomb is ticking in the form of Oren Starks (played by Brad Garrett). Oren exemplifies a new type of killer—postal workers who succumb to stress, leading to mental breakdowns and paranoid fantasies. “Going Postal” begins with renowned psychologist Dr. Nicolas Brink (portrayed by Richard Portnow) initiating a contentious research project aimed at developing a “psychological vaccine” to neutralize these volatile individuals who are increasingly “going postal.” It becomes apparent that nearly everyone at this post office is teetering on the edge of madness. A twisted love triangle emerges between Oren, Harry Cash (Rob Roy Fitzgerald), and Tammy Skye (Grace Cavanaugh), a seductive survivor of another postal shooting. Meanwhile, Postmaster Calhoun (William Long, Jr.) exacerbates the situation by obsessively monitoring employees’ bathroom breaks. Something has to change, and it certainly isn’t the punctual delivery of the U.S. mail.
