Hyun-tae, In-chul, and Min-soo have shared a close bond since they were kids. Hyun-tae works as a paramedic and has a young daughter in kindergarten. In-chul, on the other hand, is a swindler employed at an insurance firm, while Min-soo runs a small business. Hyun-tae’s mother, who operates an illegal gambling den, enlists In-chul to orchestrate a fake robbery and arson at her establishment to claim an insurance payout. However, the plan goes awry, leading to her unintended death, which causes a rift among the friends and permanently alters their relationships.
