Victoria Spick, a single attorney specializing in criminal law, attends a wedding where she encounters three men: David, the father of her children; Vincent, an acquaintance; and Sam, an ex-drug dealer she once helped by posting bail. The following day, Vincent finds himself accused of trying to commit murder by his significant other.
