Yosuke Misaki, once a rising star in the field of prosecution, unexpectedly left his legal career behind to pursue his passion for playing the piano. He finds himself at the doorstep of Kentaro Katsuki, a wealthy resident of a tranquil neighborhood in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. Kentaro, who shares his home with his housekeeper Michiko Tsuzuruki (played by Midoriko Kimura), welcomes Yosuke to stay with him. Nearby, the Sanada family resides, where Haruka dreams of becoming a pianist. Tragedy strikes when a devastating fire engulfs the Sanada household. In the aftermath, Yosuke steps in to assist Haruka in rekindling her piano-playing aspirations.
