Army Colonel Griff Carson, portrayed by Dean Cain, comes back to his family from Germany for a two-month break. During this time, he contemplates leaving the military if he isn’t elevated to the rank of General. His time away on deployment has taken a toll, keeping him apart from his wife, Janet (played by Kristy Swanson), and their two teenage children, Kim (Galadriel Stineman) and Ollie (Alec Gray).
