Renowned country musician Trey Cole is making his way back to his hometown after having left it behind heartlessly years ago, never to return, not even when his brother passed away while serving in the military. Now, as he comes to terms with losing his sense of self, Trey recalls the memory of his first haircut in the worn-out brown leather chair at Charlie’s barbershop. He seeks wisdom from Charlie, who was like a father figure to him during his upbringing, a time when his own father, General Wes Cameron, was emotionally distant.
