After moving his family and his cherished, refurbished Sherman tank to a quaint town in Georgia, Sergeant Major Zack Carey (played by James Garner) finds himself at odds with the town’s sheriff. Disapproving of the local law enforcement’s methods, Zack takes matters into his own hands when the sheriff targets his son (portrayed by C. Thomas Howell). Determined to stand his ground, Zack decides to deploy his Sherman tank and engage in a personal battle.
