Dana Lewis, a well-known B-movie Scream Queen, is weary of her roles as the defenseless victim in direct-to-video films and aspires to transition into a more serious acting career. She finally lands a significant role as the lead in an indie film, but her excitement is short-lived. Filming in the Mojave Desert, she encounters unexpected challenges, including a director who is a fanatical admirer and a cast and crew filled with eccentric locals.
