Six eager forensic science students find themselves in competition during a scientific journey to an isolated island, all striving for a prestigious internship with the FBI. Unaware of the island’s dark past as a clandestine site for illegal biological experiments on life-sentenced prisoners, who were subsequently abandoned, the students inadvertently awaken the undead convicts. These zombie criminals, now reanimated, begin to pursue the students relentlessly, picking them off individually.
